Beaford is a village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England. The village is about five miles south-east of Great Torrington, on the A3124 road towards Exeter. It has a population of around 400 people. The village has a small primary school, local pub, play area, church and garage with small shop.

St Georges & All Saints. Services are held every Sunday at 10.00am with communion normally celebrated on the third Sunday of the month. All are welcome to join.

We are extremely dog friendly here in Beaford and it is a fabulous area for walking. There are riverbanks, fields, country lane walks and woodland areas right on the doorstep. As well as the numerous public footpaths, the village have a dedicated dog exercising field, called 'Doorstep Green' in front of the village hall with beautiful views of Dartmoor.

Beaford has a Village Green in the centre of the village, there is a large open green space to play ball games and a well equipped play area. This is a NO DOG area.
